This survey is designed to better understand the current state of home-schooling in America. Several thousand individuals will be asked a series of questions about their attitudes and assumptions regarding different educational models. The questions are context-sensitive; how you reply to one question will determine the next one you see. Typically, it takes about seven minutes to complete. Some people will finish in a few minutes while others may require more time. Once you’ve passed a question you cannot return to change it, so take your time answering.
Your responses will be strictly confidential. The answers to every question are coded and will remain anonymous. All data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. After each question, you will be asked to click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page. Depending on your monitor settings, this button may occasionally fall below the visible area of your screen. If you don't see the button, simply scroll down to it.
A note on usage: for this study, we use the term “traditional” to describe any educational program that requires students to attend classes on a regular schedule away from the student’s home. This does not imply that one educational option is superior to another, it is merely to distinguish on-site ('bricks-and-mortar') schooling from what is typically defined as home-schooling.
